Deborah A. Baseil
Founder & President
Deborah Baseil is the founder and President of Baseil Associates Inc. After many years with Executive Search Inc., where she held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Training Officer, Deborah established Baseil Associates in 2005.
Deborah founded the Firm with the operating philosophy of acting as a trusted advisor and true human resources consultant for her clients. She and her Talent Acquisition Specialists understand that in addition to requisite skills and expertise, their clients rely on Baseil Associates to determine a genuine match of philosophies and personalities between the candidate and the organizational culture. Her clients depend on the Firm’s exacting candidate research and in-depth knowledge of the candidate pool, as well as an extraordinary commitment to the client’s long-term success.
In her executive role, Deborah manages client relationships and provides strategic advice and counsel throughout the search process. Her tenure in executive recruitment allows her to share the most current market factors to help clients choose and integrate talent wisely. Depending on a client’s needs, Deborah provides supplemental services, such as drafting job descriptions and providing advice on salary ranges, onboarding and retention strategies, performance management, and strategic organizational development. In sum, Deborah’s counsel helps firms acquire the best talent while shortening the time to hire, both of which are critical human resource and financial issues to her clients.
A respected counselor and dynamic speaker, Deborah is routinely sought as a presenter before professional organizations desiring to learn from her unique perspective on interviewing, recruiting and retention.
Outside of her Firm’s work, Deborah is a dedicated member of the Board of Trustees of the Academy of Saint Elizabeth, where in addition to overall involvement, she has helped to create and implement initiatives to enhance the admission of qualified students. She is actively involved in the Paralegal Studies Program at Montclair State University. Deborah has a long-standing, wonderful relationship with the Association of Legal Administrators of New Jersey.
Deborah received her Bachelor of Arts from Montclair State University and pursued her graduate studies at Rutgers University.
